Bolt
A friendly stallion in training who needs an experienced home and continued groundwork.
Meet Bolt
JDFHR spent approximately five to six weeks patiently earning Bolt trust. He has changed dramatically and now approaches visitors and allows interaction and petting.
Training and riding
Not evaluated as a riding horse by JDFHR.
Groundwork
Has accepted a halter during limited training but needs substantially more structured groundwork.
Best-fit home
An experienced horse person capable of safely handling a stallion and continuing his training. Not a beginner home.
Handling notes
Catch / halter / lead: Friendly with people now, with limited halter work completed. Experienced handling is required.
At a glance
Now very gentle and friendly with people.
Current limitations
Stallion; not a beginner horse. Training is ongoing and he is not represented as fully trained or rideable.
Background
Bolt came from an auction with Ryder approximately 1.5 years ago. At the auction he was extremely frightened and difficult to handle.
Adoption note
Potentially available to an experienced stallion home that can continue his groundwork. Contact JDFHR to discuss fit.
Could Bolt be a fit?
Contact JDFHR to ask questions and discuss the next step. An inquiry is the beginning of a careful match, not a promise of placement.
