Our Mission
Progress is practical
Rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible placement are connected by steady, hands-on work shaped around each horse.
JD Farming Horse Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong protection or responsible rehoming for neglected, abused, and at-risk horses, while promoting compassion, education, and humane treatment within our community.
What Guides Our Work
Our mission is carried out through practical, hands-on programs that prioritize the well-being of each horse and promote responsible ownership. We focus on:
- Humane rescue and safe intake
- Rehabilitation through appropriate care and gentle handling
- Responsible adoption and lifelong sanctuary when needed
- Education to prevent neglect and improve horse welfare
Every decision is made with the goal of ensuring safe, ethical, and long-term outcomes for the horses in our care.
Why It Matters
Many horses face neglect or abandonment due to lack of resources, education, or changing circumstances. By combining rescue efforts with education and responsible placement, JD Farming Horse Rescue works to address both immediate needs and long-term solutions.
Our mission extends beyond rescue alone — it is about improving the future for horses by supporting informed, compassionate care.
Our Commitment
JD Farming Horse Rescue is committed to ethical operations, transparency, and responsible stewardship of resources. We work to ensure that donations and support directly benefit the horses and the programs that serve them.
